4. Account and Data Deletion Policy
You have full control over your personal data and may request the deletion of your Palengkey account and associated personal information at any time.
- How to Request Deletion:
- In-App: Go to Account Settings > Security & Privacy > Request Account Deletion.
- Via Email: Send an email to admin@palengkey.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" using your registered email address.
- Processing Time: Once submitted, your deletion request will be verified and processed within thirty (30) calendar days.
- Scope of Erasure: Upon account deletion, your personal details (name, delivery address, phone number, and account credentials) will be permanently purged or anonymized in our active database.
- Exceptions and Data Retention:
- Pending Transactions: Account deletion requests will be held until all pending orders, outstanding payments, or ongoing disputes are fully resolved.
- Legal & Financial Compliance: Basic transaction logs and tax-related receipts will be retained in accordance with Philippine statutory requirements (such as BIR record-keeping regulations) for up to five (5) years before permanent disposal.
5. Data Security and Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Unless retained for statutory compliance as outlined in Section 4, your personal information is kept only for as long as necessary to provide our services.

Mayroon kayong ganap na kontrol sa inyong personal na data at maaari kayong humiling na burahin ang inyong Palengkey account at personal na detalye anumang oras.
- Paano Mag-request ng Pagbura:
- Sa Web App: Pumunta sa Account Settings > Security & Privacy > Request Account Deletion.
- Sa Email: Magpadala ng email sa admin@palengkey.com gamit ang paksang "Account Deletion Request" mula sa inyong rehistradong email address.
- Panahon ng Pagproseso: Pagkatapos matanggap ang request, ito ay susuriin at ipoproseso sa loob ng tatlumpung (30) araw.
- Saklaw ng Pagbura: Kapag nabura na ang account, ang inyong mga personal na detalye (pangalan, tirahan, numero ng telepono, at login details) ay permanenteng tatanggalin sa aming active database.
- Mga Eksepsyon sa Pagbura:
- Mga Nakatambak na Order: Ang request sa pagbura ng account ay maaantala muna kung mayroon pang mga natitirang order, hindi pa nababayarang balance, o nagpapatuloy na reklamo.
- Pagsunod sa Batas: Ang ilang opisyal na rekord ng transaksyon at resibo ay kailangang itago alinsunod sa mga batas ng Pilipinas (tulad ng mga regulasyon ng BIR) hanggang limang (5) taon bago tuluyang burahin.
